• About Quote Velocity: A technology company specializing in customer acquisition in insurance. • About the Role: Seeking an Engineering Team Lead to guide and mentor a team. • Remote position: Availability required within core working hours Mon-Fri 9:00am-12:00pm ET.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience. • Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework. • Experience with Livewire and Vue.js for front-end development. • In-depth knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure. • Proven experience with high-traffic applications and large-scale databases. • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. • Demonstrated ability to guide and mentor other engineers. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Understanding of when to prioritize building things correctly versus building them quickly. • Familiarity with Agile/Kanban methodologies. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Passion for technology and a commitment to continuous improvement.
