Description

• Seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS • Deliver cloud transformational outcomes into Rackspace’s clients • Experience working in a consulting role, leading other engineers • Design and implementation of scalable software services • Build out of new customer cloud solutions • Usage of foundational architecture and components • Present architecture to clients of varying levels • Brief senior leadership and end users • Supporting customers with tasks including provisioning resources and modifying Cloud environments • Get involved in all levels of technical discussions • Deliver engineering consulting services in a client-facing role

Requirements

• Strong technical expertise on complex projects from inception to delivery • Deliver automated, secure and robust cloud infrastructure solutions • Deep technical expertise in application-focused assistance • Hands-on and consultative approaches • Good grounding in infrastructure technology • Programming background • Proven experience of designing and supporting AWS • Building cloud automation, including CI/CD pipelines • Technical skills in Public Cloud architecture, PaaS, and security best practices • Previous exposure to large-scale system design • In-depth knowledge of cloud-related technologies • Strong communication skills, customer-facing experience desirable
