Description

• This is a U.S. based position. All of the programs we support require U.S. citizenship to be eligible for employment. All work must be conducted within the continental U.S. • Raft is a customer-obsessed non-traditional small business focusing on Distributed Data Systems, Platforms at Scale, and Complex Application Development, headquartered in McLean, VA. • We’re looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. • As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will develop and implement end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles, ensuring secure and efficient processes.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience with Kubernetes or Docker • Develop and implement end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles • Experience with AWS and cloud technologies • Good grasp of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies • Networking experience • Experience or knowledge of Service-Mesh, such as Istio • Good knowledge of version control systems like Gitlab • Experience in software systems development using CI/CD pipelines • Strong problem-solving skills • Passionate about automation, system efficiency, and security • Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools • Proficient in tools like AWS Cloud Services, Gitlab, Ansible, Maven, Gradle • Experience with Unit/Integration Testing • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code • Bachelor Degree in computer science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree; or equivalent industry experience • Able to obtain a Security+ certification within 90 days of employment with Raft • Highly preferred: • Experience with writing custom Helm Charts • Basic experience with Big Data • Multilingual programming abilities • Knowledge in automation languages like Python or GoLang
