Description

•The SEO Manager is responsible for coordinating SEO work performed by On-Site and Technical SEO Specialists. •The SEO Manager helps team members work in an efficient and methodical manner, holding true to Rankings’ industry-leading standards and commitment to quality. •They prioritize the work delegated to the department, evaluate finished tasks for quality, and act as an escalation point for Specialist team members. •Work with the Director of SEO to help develop and implement SEO strategies. •Actively participate in weekly SEO Level 10 Meetings. •Run a weekly Same Page meeting with On-Site and Technical SEO Specialists. •Act as first escalation point for Local, On-site and Technical SEO Specialists. •Perform comprehensive ‘Find-and-fix” SEO audits on new and existing client websites. •Review strategy-based SEO issues brought to the team. •Work with other SEO departments in a collaborative fashion. •Use data to influence SEO strategies. •Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends.

Requirements

•Analytical and perceptive who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams. •Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential to this role. •Proven experience as SEO Manager, SEM Manager or similar role. •A deep understanding of relevant and current SEO best practices. •Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus. •Experience with SEO reporting platforms such as Rank Ranger, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Agency Analytics, etc). •Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ, Ahrefs, GSC) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends). •Excellent and dependable communication skills. •Strong organizational and leadership skills. •Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude. •BSc/BA in Marketing, Business or related field.
