• In this role, you’ll be spearheading the creation of episodes for our slate of over 15 Snapchat Discover Shows. • The core responsibility of this role is owning the entire production process for multiple shows within our portfolio. • Produce Engaging Content: Using current events, internet trends, and your creativity, produce up to 8 original episodes per week for multiple Snapchat shows in the Low Battery portfolio. • Storytelling: Utilize storytelling techniques that are effective in short-form content to craft compelling narratives that resonate with our audience and drive retention. • Make Data-Driven Decisions: Data is the backbone behind every creative decision. • Design Captivating Vertical Thumbnails: Oversee and create multiple thumbnails for each episode. • Headline Copywriting: Craft engaging and accurate headlines that draw in viewers. • Programming Strategy: Collaborate with the team to strategize and plan posting schedules, tentpole event coverage, monetization strategies, and more. • Creative Collaboration: Work closely with a global team of editors, graphic designers, and content creators to ensure high-quality production and seamless execution.
• Proven Experience: 2+ years of experience producing short-form content for digital platforms, focusing on Snapchat, pop culture, and internet trends. • Graphic Design: Working knowledge of Photoshop • Video Editing: Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere • Gen Z Expertise: Deep understanding of Gen Z culture and trends, as well as social media platforms, notably Snapchat. • Creative Storyteller: Strong storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging narratives in a short-form format. • Digital Savvy: Familiarity with the components of viral content and the nuances of different digital platforms. • Team Player: Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
