Description

• Own the architecture of our new Git infrastructure. Examples of problems you’ll help to solve: • Create backups (per repo and larger). • Improve deployment of the codebase. • Unblock scaling issues as they come up. • Care about security and SOC2 compliance. • Come up with ideas around what ReadMe’s broader infrastructure should look like, and communicate them to your coworkers. • Collaborate with other engineers and people around ReadMe. You’ll be fairly autonomous in this role, but you won’t be on an island! You’ll support and be supported by your coworkers.

Requirements

• Excited about working with and optimizing a large amount of data! • Familiar with Typescript, since Gitto is built with JS. • Experienced with AWS (EC2 / EFS / Load Balancing at the very least) and feel comfortable building out infrastructure on top of them. • Knowledgeable about Terraform. • Passionate about making products people love.
