Description

• Integrate data from various sources • Enhance data quality, reliability, availability, and traceability • Evaluate business needs and objectives • Identify opportunities for data acquisition • Optimize processes and queries • Collaborate with analytics teams and data engineers on multiple projects • Promote and adopt data modeling standards and concepts • Assess and leverage stored data to improve business operations and profitability • Implement real-time or near-real-time data replication. • Manage and process event data to ensure timely and accurate data updates

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. • Advanced SQL knowledge. • Advanced knowledge in Python and Spark. • Advanced knowledge in database systems, both SQL and NoSQL. • Knowledge in relational and dimensional database modeling. • Best practices in Data Lake or similar architectures. • Experience with data replication in real-time or near-real-time environments. • Handling and processing event data. • Preferably experience with AWS Redshift and Databricks. • Experience in data governance. • Great mathematical and analytical skills. • Advanced proficiency in English or Spanish is a plus.
