Description

• Define and enforce policies related to data quality, integrity, privacy, and security across the organization. • Ensure data is accessible, accurate, and usable for AI, business analytics, and other needs. • Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection standards. • Develop and implement procedures for managing sensitive data and data access controls. • Oversee the full data lifecycle, from collection, storage, usage, and retention to secure deletion, ensuring proper management of data assets. • Work closely with data management, IT, legal, and business teams to ensure proper data governance practices are followed across the organization. • Define and enforce data quality standards, ensuring that data is clean, accurate, and consistent across all departments and systems.

Requirements

• Multiple years of experience in data governance, AI governance, or related fields, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership capacity. • Hands-on experience establishing and overseeing data and AI governance policies, controls, and workflows. • Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, data management, data privacy regulations, and governance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act, ISO/IEC standards). • Experience in risk management and mitigation for both AI systems and data governance. • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage complex governance challenges. • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a focus on continuous improvement.
