β€’ Architect, design, build, maintain, and enhance robust data platform, backend infrastructure, and APIs used by us and our customers β€’ Build and maintain ETL data pipelines involving homogenous and heterogenous data from external healthcare data sources and our internal databases β€’ Develop, scale, and optimize our machine learning infrastructure β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, partners, and customers to understand needs, offer insights, and tailor systems to meet these needs β€’ Encourage and maintain a culture of innovation, creativity, and collaboration β€’ Support and contribute to code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. β€’ Mentor the engineering team as the company grows providing guidance and coaching β€’ Ability to move into formal engineering leadership as the company grows

Requirements

β€’ BS, MS, in computer science, software engineering, or a related field β€’ Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Typescript, with a strong ability to write clean, maintainable code. β€’ Proven experience in backend engineering with expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design β€’ Authoritative in ETL optimization, designing, coding, and tuning big data processes β€’ Expert in developing and optimizing systems for data processing and providing REST APIs for both inter-service communication and user-facing, latency-sensitive frontend applications. β€’ Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and/or Microsoft Azure β€’ Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering scalable and efficient solutions.β€― β€’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills β€’ Strong desire to build impactful products β€’ Previous experience in leading an engineering team β€’ 15 + years of experience in software engineering and development
