📋 Description

• Reddit is a community of communities, built on shared interests, passion, and trust. • The Reddit Ads Marketplace Quality team is looking for an experienced machine learning engineer. • Develop a vision to improve our Ads Marketplace, optimizing for users, advertisers, and Reddit values. • Research, formulate, and execute on building algorithmic solutions in the ads marketplace. • Oversee strategies and execution related to ads marketplace, auction, and pricing. • Mentor junior and senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and build products.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with industry-level product development, with at least 5+ years focused on data-driven, marketplace-optimization problem space at scale. • Strong knowledge of ads marketplace optimization. Demonstrated experience architecting ads marketplace design, improving and optimizing ads auction and pricing mechanisms. • Solid understanding of large-scale data processing, distributed computing, and data infrastructure (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Beam, Flink). • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries for feature engineering, model training, and inference. • Proficiency with programming languages (Java, Python, Golang, C++, or similar) and statistical analysis. • Proven technical leadership in cross-functional settings, driving architectural decisions and influencing stakeholders (product, data science, privacy, legal). • Excellent communication, mentoring, and collaboration skills to align teams on a long-term vision for ads marketplace optimization.
