📋 Description
• Deliver software and support for Red Hat OpenStack Cloud offering • Help deliver and improve our shipping Red Hat OpenStack releases • Develop, maintain, and write software and automated tests for one or more OpenStack projects • Contribute to the writing and review of customer documentation • Engage and assist in the resolution of software issues both internally and from external customers • Contribute to the quality and success of our Red Hat’s offerings and the open source communities
🎯 Requirements
• Comfortable working with a distributed remote international team • Good written and verbal communication skills in English • Experience developing in Python programming is highly desirable • Experience using Linux and debugging Linux environments is highly desirable • Passion for solving problems, continuous improvement, teamwork and open communication • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience (considered a plus) • Familiarity with Red Hat Cloud Suite, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat Data Services, and related Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) technologies (considered a plus) • Experience with languages like Ansible, Java, or Ruby (considered a plus) • Experience with distributed systems and networking (considered a plus) • Experience with OpenStack and related OpenStack projects (considered a plus) • Open source community experience (considered a plus)
