Description

• Red Ventures is seeking a Senior Writer to join the Energy team. • Focus on creating customer-centric, long-form content. • Help consumers navigate the complex energy industry. • Partner with SEO analysts and editors to drive incremental growth. • Research, write and update authoritative content on energy-related topics. • Develop original ideas for engaging and informative articles, guides, reviews. • Ensure content aligns with brand voice, tone and style guidelines. • Guide and mentor other writers. • Stay up-to-date with energy industry news and trends. • Apply SEO best practices to increase rankings and drive traffic.

Requirements

• 5–6 years of professional experience in an editorial or journalism role. • Excellent written communication. • Demonstrated expertise with long-form SEO content, incorporating EEAT concepts. • Strong research, writing and editing skills, with an ability to convey complex information in a clear and accessible manner. • Ability to mentor a team of like-minded professionals while simultaneously performing the required duties of the senior writer position. • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with remote teammates. • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively in team and cross-functional settings. • Knowledge of AP Style and experience using internal style guides. • Exceptional organizational strategies with the ability to hone and implement production processes. • Energy industry experience is preferred.
