• Write technical documentation for users of Regroup software as the Admin guide, Knowledge base, and wiki how. • Write instructional and reference documentation for developers who want to extend and customize the functionality of Regroup software. • Follow an established writing style guide and work with an editor to refine and improve documentation deliverables. • Conspire with customer success, software developers, architects, and product managers to develop engaging content that helps users make good decisions about how to use Regroup technology to gain business insights. • Assess any documentation and interface text needs prior to each release by proactively keeping informed of new functionality and designs, then taking the steps necessary to ensure your documentation and in-app text provides users with the information required to be successful. • Collaborate with our customer success and tech support team. • Respond quickly and request new information that is needed internally and externally. • Take ownership of all existing documentation within your assigned areas of the application. • Ensure that existing documentation is kept up to date and that it promotes successful product use. • Working with the Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Tech support teams to ensure content completeness and accuracy. • Building parts of Regroup user guide for existing and new features of the product.
• 2+ years of documenting software products for system administrators, business analysts, and developers, including concepts, procedures, and process documentation. • A consistent record of researching and writing excellent documentation and examples for Saas products. • Genuine desire to learn challenging technical concepts and thrive in an environment of rapid change. • Ability to strike a balance between “right” and “right now” in your output. • Aptitude for cultivating a reciprocal, energetic, positive working environment that values creativity and innovation. • You possess excellent technical writing skills • You have experience developing end-user documentation for Saas applications • You have a working knowledge of standard web technologies (HTML, CSS) and Javascript • You have API documentation experience • You have demonstrated success in self-managing your writing projects • You are experienced at writing content that is easily translatable into other languages • Advanced written and spoken English
