Requirements

• Completed studies in computer science, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable qualification. • Experience in software engineering. • Proficiency in requirements development, software design, software development in C/C++, unit testing, software validation, software configuration management, and scripting (Python). • Knowledge of real-time operating systems like RTEMS, VxWorks, or Embedded Linux, as well as communication interfaces (MILBUS, CANBUS, Ethernet, serial interfaces). • Ideally, knowledge of multi-core processors (such as LEON Multicores GR712/GR740 and the Zynq 7000 (ARM) family) and their use in embedded systems. • Experience applying agile approaches using software development processes according to ECSS-E-ST-40C and ECSS-Q-ST-80C or similar (e.g., DO-178B). • Enthusiasm, self-motivation. • Strong quality awareness as well as excellent teamwork and communication skills combined with a passion for one’s work. • Good English skills, knowledge of German.
