Description

• Drive new features delivery end-to-end through implementation, launch, and continuous iteration • Write and maintain a full unit test suite • Help manage deployments and setup CI/CD pipelines • Collaborate in an agile environment to understand business requirements and translate those needs to actionable development code using best practices • Write performant, scalable and testable code with the help of modern tools • Participate in code reviews that uphold the principle of clean code and architecture • Participate in active engineering design sessions with evidence and experience-based contributions • Balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results • Participate in interview process to raise the technical bar and to bring new talent

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers • English is at the level C1, both written and spoken, for active communication with native speakers • Experience with user interface design • Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Jest, React-testing-library, and familiarity with various React libraries • Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software • Comfort operating in a sometimes ambiguous, fast-changing environment with rapid iteration cycles • Track record of managing feature requests with realistic timelines • Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies • Can and sees the importance of writing supporting documentation • In-depth knowledge and experienced full-stack development using ReactJS, Typescript, NodeJS, NestJS, GraphQL, Rest API, Postgresql, MySQL, Flask or FastAPI • Working knowledge of AWS stack including ECS, SQS and SNS • Deployment through (one or more): Gitlab CI, Github Actions, Circle CI, Travis CI, Jenkins • Additional Technologies: Docker, Celery, Terraform • Knowledge or experience with the following technologies are a big plus (nice to have): Python backend development, Electron expertise in building cross-platform desktop applications using the ElectronJS framework, AWS RDS
