• The Procurement Analyst will be directly responsible for the strategic management, execution, and documentation of the company’s developing procurement process. • Partnering with internal stakeholders to onboard, monitor and if necessary, terminate vendor relationships • Advising internal stakeholders on vendor management requirements and communicating potential risks identified while managing vendors • Proactively identifying, monitoring, escalating and remediating any issues in the procurement process with the goal to ensure proper documentation and communication with all internal stakeholders and external vendors. • Understanding and adhering to Remote’s standards, policies and controls for vendor management. • Execute an effective procurement strategy that aligns with Remote’s growth and success • Research and analyse SaaS products and services to identify the best solutions for Remote • Negotiate with vendors to secure the best pricing while aligning with Remote’s terms • Manage the entire software procurement process in partnership with key business owners and stakeholders • Track and monitor software license renewals to ensure timely renewal of services • Partnership with Remote’s Data Privacy, Finance, Legal, and Security teams to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal company policies • Prepare and maintain accurate records of all procurement activities • Maintain constant communication with vendors to address and resolve day-to-day issues (i.e. addressing/escalating vendors non-performance) • Must be able to find new ways of tackling supply management (i.e. focus on optimising for maximum efficiency in the purchase/renewal process)
• Minimum 3 years experience in indirect (services and SaaS) procurement • Minimum 3 years experience managing vendor relationships • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills • Strong commercial negotiation and contracting skills • Strong project management skills • Strong documentation skills • The ability to work independently and as part of a globally distributed team
