📋 Description

•At Render, we are on a mission to accelerate software innovation by empowering every developer to ship software quickly, confidently, and at scale. •We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting function and build a scalable foundation to support our rapid growth as a B2B SaaS, consumption-based business. •Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role will be a strategic partner and collaborate cross-functionally to enable company-wide business initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

•10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience at public accounting firms and leadership roles in high growth B2B SaaS and/or consumption-based companies. •CPA and/or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. •Demonstrated expertise in GAAP, ASC 606, and SaaS revenue recognition. •Experience building internal controls and leading external audit processes. •Experience scaling and improving processes, systems, and teams during periods of rapid growth. •Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. •Is a player coach who can mentor and build a strong team. •Nice-to-haves: Exposure to initiatives such sales tax, billing, sales compensation, and treasury. •Familiarity with equity management platforms such as Carta. •Previous experience in a later stage venture-backed environment.
