• Who We Are • Renew Home is on a mission to change how we power the world by making it easier for customers to save energy and money at home. • We partner with industry-leading brands to better manage residential energy for users by prioritizing efficiency, savings, and comfort. • We are an Equal Opportunity employer striving to create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment where everyone feels that they have a voice that is heard. • Our company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test and Automation to establish robust automation testing frameworks and culture. • You will drive test automation strategies, implement frameworks, support our continuous integration processes, and fast release cycle. • Your expertise will provide the team with the automation to evaluate product quality in an agile product development cycle.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with multiple test automation tools and frameworks for frontend, backend, and database applications. • Solid software engineering experience with proficiency in SQL databases and one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, PHP, Ruby. • Experience with web automation frameworks such as Selenium or BrowserStack. • Experience in the software development lifecycle, focusing on software quality. • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Github Actions, or equivalent. • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills. • Demonstrated ability to independently define and execute projects. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • 5+ years of experience in testing web-based applications. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. • Experience with our tech stack(Python and React running on Lambdas, PostgreSQL, S3 in AWS, Pub/Sub in GCP). • Experience with mobile testing.
