Your expertise will provide the team with the right automation to evaluate the quality of the product in an agile product development cycle. β’ What You Will Do β’ Design, implement and own robust test automation frameworks for integration and end-to-end testing of distributed systems aligned with project goals. β’ Identify and implement technical best practices for tools, processes, and work plans to support the continuous integration and delivery of our applications. β’ Guide software developers in creating and maintaining automated tests using various tools and programming languages. β’ Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and the cross-functional team to capture and understand test cases, ensuring testing infrastructure supports developing requirements. β’ Leverage the frameworks to expand automated test coverage at higher levels of the test pyramid. β’ Collaborate with the infrastructure team to create and deploy test environments. β’ Create and maintain documentation of processes, environments, and tests. β’ Develop and operationalize test plans, develop test schedules. β’ Analyze production failures and recommend improvements to the test suite and codebase. β’ Participate in product release and quality reviews with a cross functional team. β’ Advocate for automated testing throughout the stack and organization
β’ Hands-on experience with multiple test automation tools and frameworks for frontend, backend, and database applications. Demonstrated ability to integrate these frameworks and tools in the software development workflow. β’ Solid software engineering experience with proficiency in SQL databases and one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, PHP, Ruby. β’ Experience with web automation frameworks such as Selenium or BrowserStack β’ Experience in the software development lifecycle, focusing on software quality. β’ Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Github Actions, or equivalent. β’ Excellent problem solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills. β’ Demonstrated ability to independently define and execute projects β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills. β’ 5+ years of experience in testing web-based applications β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent β’ Bonuses β’ Experience with our tech stack(Python and React running on Lambdas, PostgreSQL, S3 in AWS, Pub/Sub in GCP) β’ Experience with mobile testing
