Description

• Assist in executing communications strategies in support of electoral, organizing, and advocacy work. • Help draft press materials and maintain press lists. • Monitor state and national news related to reproductive freedom.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience with a proven track record of executing high-quality communications work in a fast-paced environment (ideally political and/or advocacy); • Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong news judgment; • Ability to work in a collaborative environment while simultaneously managing both rapid-response and long-term projects; • Demonstrated ability to create written material that relates to people from varying communities and different lived experiences; • Organized self-starter with strong time management and strategic planning skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines; • Willingness to work some irregular hours and travel as needed; • A commitment to contributing to a workplace environment in which diversity is valued and supported; • Commitment to Reproductive Freedom for All’s goal of protecting reproductive freedom and ensuring every person is able to make their own decisions about pregnancy. • Familiarity with media databases like Cision is a plus
