• We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our partner's Engineering team. • They are a startup with its HQ in New York. • Their mission is to unlock the internet for everyone. • They offer a suite of APIs to make connecting, selling, and powering domains effortless. • Their customers range from enterprises to startups, such as Webflow, Square, ActiveCampaign, and more. • Our product reaches hundreds of thousands of end users every month. • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Automation Engineer to join a Quality Assurance team. • In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated tests to ensure product quality and reliability. • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, define testing strategies, and help improve the overall QA process. • This position is ideal for a technically skilled individual who has a passion for quality and a deep understanding of automation testing frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance with a focus on automation testing. • Proficiency in JavaScript and Typescript for automation scripting. Bonus points for Python knowledge. • Strong experience with test automation tools including Playwright and Cypress • Familiarity with behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow. • Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. • Experience in testing both web applications and APIs (REST, SOAP) using automated tools. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
