β’ As an Insurance Account Specialist, you will work closely with Account Managers and offshore SDU teams β’ Respond to inquiries from insureds and complete routine, entry-level service requests within the Agency Management System β’ Handle questions and concerns from customers professionally, politely, and efficiently β’ Support Sr. Specialists and Account Managers by processing service-related issues β’ Independently operate client systems and process routine insurance tasks β’ Document work in client/company database β’ Build relationships with clients and insureds to support retention and revenue growth β’ Consult with client team members on work and requests from insureds β’ Look for opportunities to improve processes β’ Train new Account Specialists on basic tasks and procedures
β’ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or equivalent β’ Living in Mountain Time Zone or Central Time Zone β’ Property and Casualty License highly preferred or ability to study and pass the exam in the first 30 days of employment β’ 2-3 years insurance experience (personal lines, commercial lines, life & health, employee benefits, etc.) β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills β’ Fluent in Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel) β’ Process-focused and strong attention-to-detail β’ Technological proficiency - ability to learn and navigate a variety of client and internal systems
