Description
• Assist in all networking, Linux, and Windows server infrastructure • Implement new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks • Install, configure and support network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, DNS and DHCP • Configure firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security • Maximise network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting • Arrange scheduled upgrades • Investigate faults in the network • Update network equipment to the latest firmware releases • Support for all IT related incidents • Respond to logged requests for IT support services in a timely and effective manner • Direct third party vendors and guide remote technicians • Ensure network quality and security • Develop and maintain knowledge base documentation • Contribute to team projects that enhance the quality and efficiency of the IT team
Requirements
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent IT certifications and/or substantial experience • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role • Willingness to travel interstate if needed • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire) • TCP/IP Networking • VLANs • Virtual Private Networking • Firewall/SDWan/Routing • PABX/VoIP administration • Linux Server Administration • Storage Area Networking • Cloud services
