Description
• We are looking for a Senior FinOps Engineer to empower our customers by providing cost intelligence insights. • Facilitate discussions on cost growth causes and solutions and guiding them on their FinOps journey. • Analyse billing and usage data to provide actionable cost intelligence insights. • Consult with engineering teams on specific resource usage and optimization strategies. • Advise operations teams on effective tagging and labeling strategies. • Discuss financial metrics like COGS and unit cost trends with finance and executive teams. • Use advanced Excel functions to analyze complex datasets and generate meaningful insights. • Leverage data to help customers achieve better financial and operational outcomes.
Requirements
• Must haves: 3+ years consulting on AWS, GCP, or Azure. • Proven experience providing financial analysis and optimization recommendations for cloud services to tech and finance teams. • Understanding of spend/resource reservations and tagging/labeling strategies. • Experience building BI dashboards (e.g., QuickSight, Looker, Tableau) and analyzing datasets with advanced Excel functions. • Knowledge of SQL. • Nice-to-haves: FinOps Certified Practitioner AWS, GCP and/or Azure Certification.
