• Rewiring America is the leading electrification nonprofit focused on electrifying homes and communities. • Establish compliance infrastructure to exceed regulatory requirements, focused on Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. • Monitor grant activities and expenditures, providing strategic guidance to maintain financial health. • Manage transition from outsourced finance and accounting support to internal capacity. • Build and lead a grants and compliance practice within a growing finance team. • Collaborate with leadership, board, and stakeholders to address financial concerns. • Develop and implement comprehensive compliance strategy aligned with grant objectives. • Conduct internal and external audits and assessments of grant funds usage. • Stay updated on relevant laws and communicate requirements to stakeholders. • Provide onboarding training on grant regulations and best practices.
• Strong commitment to the mission, policies and goals of Rewiring America. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (Master’s preferred). • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive grants management experience. • Financial Expertise: Excellent knowledge of grant regulations and compliance requirements. • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the organization's overall strategy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong team management and leadership skills. • Excellent discretion, ethics and judgment given access to highly confidential financial and related information. • Preferred: Experience working with NetSuite. • Preferred: Non-profit organizational finance experience, c3 and c4 work preferred. • Preferred: Federal grant management experience. • Preferred: Excellent references demonstrating a strong track record in financial leadership and management.
