Description
• Provide Virtual and Telehealth clinical social work services to patients and possibly their families. • Comprehensive psychosocial assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, case management, and discharge planning.
Requirements
• Master of Social Work Degree mandatory. • Current registration in good standing with OCSWSSW without terms, limits or conditions. • Valid professional liability insurance. • Advanced training in areas of clinical assessment and experience in therapies modalities (DBT, CBT, ACT) for children adolescents and their families is advantageous. • Minimum 2 years direct experience working with children and families in the community and in a hospital setting through inpatient units, outpatient units and emergency rooms. • Knowledge of the network of community services and resources in the GTA area. • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to function as a team player. • Practice in a manner consistent with the philosophy of continuous quality improvement. • Remain abreast of current literature and changing practice patterns. • Ability to work within a short term solution-focused model. • Ability to clinically manage high-risk cases. • Comfort using video-conference platform.
