Description

• Rialtic is an enterprise software platform empowering health insurers and healthcare providers to run their most critical business functions. • The Senior Cloud Engineer will help create and maintain our infrastructure, which is hosted on AWS and Cloudflare; build and maintain deployment pipelines and release automation tooling. • Work hand in hand with multiple platform and application development teams to test new ideas and projects; assist developers with questions about the AWS infrastructure. • Deliver on IAM needs; identify and remediate security concerns; and help solve our current and future scaling and performance challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with major third-party cloud infrastructure and container orchestration: some flavor of Kubernetes, AWS, and EKS preferred • 5+ years of experience handling application support in production (including on-call) • 3+ years of Python, Go, or similar experience • 3+ years of experience with Terraform, ideally in AWS • 3+ years of experience with GitLab/Github, ArgoCD and Helm/Kustomize • Prior startup experience – it would be difficult for this to be your first startup • A love for all things automation and a touch-it-once attitude • An understanding that infrastructure is only as good as it is reliable, observable, and secure. Those characteristics are foundational to everything you create • A self-starting attitude: you look for problems to solve rather than waiting to be told where to look or what to do
