📋 Description

• Support and help execute on pharmacy strategic initiatives including RFP evaluations, market check analyses, benchmarking, and overall improvement to pharmacy analytics and reporting solutions. • Interpret significant industry events and regulation changes for how they may impact short-term and long-term trends. • Build financial and clinical models based on business needs and requirements. • Work in close collaboration with clinical counterparts to accurately evaluate market dynamics and their impact on overall performance. • Oversee the development and maintenance of financial models that explore PBM financial performance and trend. • Review current and/or prospective PBM contracts and provide recommendations on defined terms, language, and financial guarantees and exclusions. • Consult with key client stakeholders on the benefits and implications of different PBM financial arrangements. • Prepare, analyze, and present the results of PBM RFPs, Renewals, and Market Checks with a focus on the financial terms and evaluation of pricing proposals. • Create financial benchmarks to measure and contextualize claims data from various sources. • Develop and manage processes that ensure the accuracy and quality of products produced by the Pharmacy Practice.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, economics, or another highly analytical field • Strong technical skills, particularly with SQL, Azure Synapse, Tableau and Qlik. • Experience with R and/or Python a plus. • 5+ years’ experience in the PBM industry with an in-depth knowledge of pharmacy pricing and PBM underwriting activities. • Demonstrated experience utilizing Medi-Span technology and leveraging related pharmacy reference databases • 5+ years of proven success working in a strategic client-facing role. • 5+ years’ experience in client contracting analysis, preferably with a focus in the healthcare industry. • 5+ years’ experience developing and executing financial models.
