• Rithum™ is the world’s most trusted commerce network, accelerating how brands, suppliers, and retailers work together to deliver seamless e-commerce experiences. • As an Associate General Counsel for our EMEA region, you report into our Rithum’s General Counsel (with direction from the Deputy General Counsel and other lawyers on the team). • Work cross-functionally with executives and stakeholders across all company departments with a focus on supporting Rithum’s sales and human resources teams. • Bring a strong background in commercial technology sales transactions (SaaS and licensing in particular), and in employment law supporting a global human resources department. • Work effectively in a fast-changing environment with a high degree of independence.
• 8+ years of relevant post-qualification experience with a law firm and/or in-house legal teams, supporting global business operations, with heavy emphasis on analysing, interpreting, drafting and negotiating contracts and other legal documents. • Qualified Solicitor in the UK • Excellent verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills (including contract drafting and negotiation) and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management. • Tech-Savvy • Must be resourceful, inquisitive, and driven to develop expertise in other topics to meet the needs of a dynamic business and legal department. • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities, with attention to detail. • Flexibility and reasonable availability to provide legal support off-hours where needed for offices in different time zones. • Must demonstrate superior interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a social and highly collaborate office environment. • Demonstrate maturity and comfort working with senior management. • Fluency in English, both oral and written, is essential. Proficiency in other languages (especially Spanish) is also a plus.
