Description

• Manage the delivery of a full range of state and local tax consulting services and advise companies on tax implications of their operations. • Help in the development and maturity of the tax service line by working with leadership team to advance thought leadership, client and people development. • Work closely with the firm’s partners, managers and staff to integrate practice development skills into a team approach. • Develop and lead a team responsible for ensuring quality control in state and local tax compliance. • Lead and supervise state and local tax projects working with a variety of entities. • Work with engagement teams to respond to inquiries from Pennsylvania and other taxing authorities. • Oversee taxing jurisdiction audit and controversy support for clients; represent clients during the appeal process. • Enter into strategic partnerships with other service providers to better leverage compliance engagements. • Create new SALT service offerings for the firm.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will possess a solid educational foundation with a preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • We value hands-on experience and are specifically looking for someone who brings over 7 years of progressive experience in state and local tax consulting. • An active CPA license is required.
