• Ro is a direct-to-patient healthcare company with a mission of helping patients achieve their health goals by delivering the easiest, most effective care possible. • Ro is the only company to offer nationwide telehealth, labs, and pharmacy services. • Since 2017, Ro has helped millions of patients in nearly every single county in the United States, including 98% of primary care deserts. • The healthcare system today is not designed to help patients achieve their goals. • A patient centric healthcare system is one that is designed around the goals a patient wants to achieve. • Our Design team is hiring a Senior Product Designer to drive design strategy and detailed design execution across internal products that enable our physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and patient advocates to provide safe, high quality care to patients. • You are a designer who can design for our internal Electronic Medical Record (EMR) focusing on creating exceptional experiences for our healthcare providers. • You are skilled at understanding complex problems across integrated systems and will bring a mix of leadership, curiosity, process, and advocacy for your end users and design craft.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years experience designing and shipping end-to-end products across different use cases, complicated flows, and edge cases. • Experience contributing to and scaling a design system. • Ability to think at both a high level about product strategy and vision AND the design details. • Experience understanding and designing for the day-to-day execution of complex tasks by knowledge workers, such as design for (but not limited to): Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Insurance claims processing, and Corporate banking or Investment portfolio management • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, product and engineering peers • Ability to provide design variations and the rationale behind decisions made to support your design choices • Experience working on maturing software platforms at companies with many teams or squads collaborating and across multiple stakeholders • Experience and passion for understanding your user’s needs through qualitative research methods and testing. • Strong communication and storytelling skills. You see the value in discussing design in group settings and participating in design critiques and reviews with other designers. • A desire to learn, grow and be mentored by more senior designers on the team. • A pattern of curiosity and skill-building over time (growth mindset)
