Description

• Help deliver product features and enable product analytics through data modeling • Understand how data is generated by working with engineering teams • Juggle multiple projects and priorities and work with stakeholders • Iterate and improve processes and models with teammates • Build data models from source data for end consumers • Work with data engineering team to define good practices • Communicate updates to requirements and status of work • Become an expert in multiple areas of our business

Requirements

• 4+ years of working in the analytics stack within a fast paced environment • 3+ years of production experience with SQL templating engines, like DBT, (particularly CI/CD) and data warehouses, third party ingestion providers and BI tools • Experience exposing data models to end consumers in BI Tools • Obsessively detail oriented and organized • A strong urge to understand the complexities of data • Naturally break down complex problems • Extensive experience with automated testing and test driven development • Strong written communicator • Experience partnering with analytics teams, business stakeholders, and engineers
