Description
•A PER DIEM workers’ compensation attorney works with the support staff in the firm... •Ensure cases are proceeding as necessary. •Perform legal research. •Draft appeals, rebuttals, and memoranda of law. •Represent the interests of the claimant at various proceedings. •Assist the injured worker with workers' compensation benefits.
Requirements
•Candidates must have 3-5 years compensation law experience. •Current NY BAR required. •Attention to detail and strong writing skills. •Strong oral advocacy ability. •Ability to handle large caseloads and juggle multiple priorities & deadlines. •Strong research and analytical skills. •Understanding of medical, scientific, construction, products, engineering, and similar issues in workers' compensation. •Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred but not required.
