• Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and statistical algorithms to optimize video streaming performance, personalized content delivery, and user experience. • Analyze large datasets, including user engagement metrics, viewing history, geographical data, and network performance, to extract meaningful patterns, trends, and insights. • Develop and optimize algorithms for personalized content recommendations, user segmentation, and location-based content delivery. • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate predictive models into production systems that enhance video streaming quality and content personalization. • Utilize AWS data science products (e.g., Amazon SageMaker, AWS Lambda, Amazon Redshift) to build and deploy scalable machine learning models and data pipelines. • Conduct exploratory data analysis and generate actionable insights to enhance video streaming efficiency, user satisfaction, and content personalization strategies. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies in data science, machine learning, video streaming, and cloud computing. • Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the development of the team’s technical expertise. • Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in data science or a related field, with a strong emphasis on machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis. • Experience in video streaming analytics, video quality optimization, content recommendation systems, or location-based content delivery. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala. • Strong experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and data manipulation tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy). • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks. • Knowledge of video encoding, compression algorithms, and adaptive bitrate streaming. • Expertise in personalization techniques, such as collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, and location-based analytics. • Experience with AWS data science products and services, such as Amazon SageMaker, AWS Lambda, Amazon Redshift, and other AWS cloud-based tools. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data findings to a non-technical audience.
