• RP Professional Services is a rapidly growing Technology consulting firm headquartered in Virginia. • We’re an 8a and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) serving federal and commercial customers. • Help clients achieve their mission by developing value driven, customized solutions executed by the best people. • Seeking an Automation Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). • Ideal for a technical expert developing automated solutions to improve efficiency and enhance system performance. • Focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining automation tools and frameworks.
🎯 Requirements
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. • Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Experience developing automated testing frameworks for unit, integration, or performance testing. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering, scripting, or related roles. • Proven experience developing automated solutions in production environments. • Must be eligible for a Public Trust Clearance
