Description
• Administration of firewalls including all aspects of design, procurement, installation and maintenance • Troubleshooting firewall and access issues • Understanding of Azure and AWS architectures • Strong network and routing knowledge including BGP • Understanding DNS/DCHP/IP address management systems • Comprehensive understanding of network security best practices • Knowledge of current cyber security threats • Expertise in basic scripting languages (Perl, VBScript, PowerShell preferred) • Sound project leadership and organizational skills • Strong work ethic, enthusiasm and ability to adapt
Requirements
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience • 3+ years of experience in network security • 3+ Palo Alto or similar firewall expertise • Skilled understanding of network routing protocols • Understanding of DNS/DHCP Remote Access Services and extranet experience • U.S. Citizen Required
