Description

• Be a key contributor to the JCA EXIM Engineering Team by conducting comprehensive technical assessments related to export or import controls. • Manage small projects and/or act as a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) point of contact (PoC). • Provide guidance and influence others on U.S Export Controls including policies and procedures. • Work with minimal oversight from manager and assist with difficult export classifications. • Support Global Trade organization by responding to JCA questions from USG agencies. • Initiate and coordinate Technical Exchanges with Engineering/GT to solve complex topics and interpretations with ITAR/EAR. • Interface with other engineering disciplines and suppliers to ensure correct and compliant export classifications.

Requirements

• Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience required. • Minimum 5 years of experience with the U.S. Government (USG) U.S. Munitions List (USML) and Commerce Control List (CCL). • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
