Description

• Ruby Labs is looking for a payment operations wizard to help scale business and manage risk. • Role involves optimizing payment flows, handling fraud, and integrating new payment methods. • Build relationships with payment processors and risk vendors; drive negotiation and strategy execution to optimize payment processes.

Requirements

• You have 2+ years of experience in payment operations, risk management, or similar role. • You have experience in commercial negotiations and vendor management. • You possess strong communication and deal-making skills. • You understand payment processing fee structures and optimization strategies. • You're analytically minded with strong Excel skills (pivot tables are your friends). • You have experience with payment dashboards and analytics tools. • You understand the intricacies of digital payments and risk management. • You're comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholders. • You have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • You're proactive and can work independently while supporting team goals. • Nice to have: Experience with Stripe, PayPal, or other major payment processors. • Nice to have: Knowledge of high-risk merchant account management. • Nice to have: Familiarity with payment orchestration platforms (like Primer.io). • Nice to have: Experience with D2C subscription-based products and their payment challenges.
