Description
• Responsible for partnering with underwriters for moderately complex accounts • Authorizes renewals and endorsements under limited supervision • Collaborates with team members to manage work inventories and production activities • Develops relationships with producers and acts as first point of contact • Ensures underwriting file is documented and returns for final review • Completes front-end information gathering for new business policies • Trains and mentors other Underwriting Associates
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, actuarial, economics, risk management or related field • 6 Months to 1 years underwriting support or related insurance experience required • Health Insurance Underwriting experience is a plus • Willingness to learn and develop strong technical skills in Health Insurance Industry • State Accident and Health Insurance license a plus
