• Remote position within Argentina & Uruguay • RYZ Labs is looking for a Scrum Master to join one of our clients working in the hospitality industry. • We are seeking an experienced, dynamic Scrum Master to facilitate agile practices in an exciting, fast-paced environment. • The ideal candidate is passionate about coaching teams, removing obstacles, and driving efficiency to maximize the delivery of high-quality products. • As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in fostering a positive, productive work environment, supporting cross-functional teams, and promoting agile methodologies. • Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment and continuous improvement. • Guide and mentor team members in agile practices, emphasizing transparency, collaboration, and accountability. • Actively identify and eliminate roadblocks to enable the team to stay focused on sprint goals and commitments. • Monitor and report on sprint progress, velocity, and other key performance indicators to optimize delivery and promote continuous improvement. • Foster effective communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders to align expectations and objectives. • Work closely with Product Owners to manage the product backlog, clarify user stories, and ensure a well-prioritized pipeline of work. • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, support team learning, and implement changes that improve delivery speed and quality. • Advocate for an agile mindset across the organization, contributing to agile training sessions and workshops.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within agile teams. • Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) preferred. • Background in technology or software development projects. • Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with tools like Jira, Asana, or similar project management software. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Proven ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams, managing diverse personalities and keeping everyone aligned with goals. • Skilled in proactive problem identification and resolution, with a focus on removing blockers and driving team efficiency.
