Description

• Sacré-Davey has an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in Industrial and commercial HVAC and refrigeration design. • We are seeking a technically capable, self-directed individual with excellent organizational and communication skills and a high degree of initiative. • An ideal candidate will have previous experience in either the food and beverage or manufacturing industries, will operate with a sense of urgency, and be adept at handling multiple tasks. • This opportunity is available to contractors however we are open to full time employment for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering (P. Eng. accredited with EGBC required). • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience, including experience with HVAC, industrial refrigeration, industrial wastewater treatment, boilers, and air compressors, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sectors. • Cross-functional knowledge and experience with process P&IDs and process design, as well as coordination experience with civil/structural and electrical design, is preferred. • Project engineering and construction management skills and experience are considered a strong asset. • Excellent grasp of engineering principles and experience assessing complex systems. • Ability to work in both a design office and operating plant environments. • Ability to travel. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
