Description

• SafeBase is the leading trust center platform designed for friction-free security reviews. With our enterprise-grade Trust Center Platform, we automate the security review process and transform how you communicate your trust posture. • Lead an engineering team focused on improving automation, infrastructure, and developer QoL to enable engineers to deliver value to customers faster, safer, easier, and with higher quality. • Set goals, prioritize and define tasks, and manage timelines to execute a roadmap. • Monitor, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. • Improve DevEx and existing CI/CD pipelines with additional quality and security engineering mindset. • Collaborate with engineering leaders to enhance the reliability and security of our systems. • Work closely with the founders and shape the future of our R&D center as an early engineer. • Attract, recruit, and retain engineering talent. • Help grow our platform to 1,000+ SaaS vendors, like LinkedIn and Instacart.

Requirements

• Entrepreneurial mindset - previous experience as an early joiner in a technology startup or evidence that you are scrappy with a "get-it-done" attitude. You thrive in an ambiguous environment and you enjoy leading people towards a common goal. You understand the main focus for engineers at a product-led startup is delivering the right features at the right time. • Strategic architectural & engineering design thinking and vision. Be able the product & business context to inform tradeoff decisions regarding work scoping, technical debt, and strategic investment. Knowing where to cut corners and where to excel. • 5+ years of experience as an engineer and 2+ years' experience as an engineering manager in an agile development environment. • Advanced mastery of technologies like TypeScript, React (hooks), Node.js, ES6. • Advanced mastery of cloud & web knowledge and concepts such as HTTP/S, cloud deployments and containers, SaaS integrations.
