Description
• In order to develop and expand the capabilities of SAFRAN Engineering Services in the UK, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team. • The SMDE role is seen as a planning and coordination authority, through knowledge, experience and exposure to high complexity category programmes. • In this role you will provide input and support to Chief Engineers. • You will need to be experienced in leading and developing others, managing workload and resources across multiple programmes concurrently, ideally within the Aerospace industry.
Requirements
• Mechanical / Aerospace / Structural Engineering degree • Significant experience gained in project leadership through a full programme lifecycle • Highly proficient in Catia V5 • Experience using Smarteam • Strong ability to plan and schedule design activities across multiple design modules • Effective communication skills, able to clearly define expectations and gain understanding • Experience managing a team
