📋 Description
• Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role focused on backend development. • Responsible for designing automation testing best practices, quality standards & processes. • Assist in manual testing of backend applications. • Drive several projects to completion from a QA perspective and mentor team members. • Collaborate with backend engineers to develop best practices for automation testing. • Proactively improve quality methodologies within the organization.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering and experience in developing test automation framework • Proficient in Java or GoLang and testing frameworks such as Junit, TestNG, Mockito • Experience in TypeScript / JavaScript preferred • Proficient in writing test cases for verification of web applications • Experience writing Contract tests with tools like Pact, Postman, Cypress • Experience with testing REST APIs in a microservice environment • Experience with AWS and testing SaaS applications • Familiarity with SQL and NonSQL data stores • Familiarity with observability tools such as Kibana and Datadog • Familiarity with setting up Synthetic monitoring or similar means of simulating user behavior on live services • Familiarity with Jenkins, Cloudbees and CI/CD workflows • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience planning and executing multi-sprint tasks with experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills • Self-starter, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
