• As an ML team thought leader, drive development and productization of long-range weather forecasting capabilities • Lead ML architecture and technical design discussions • Drive ML model lifecycle from research to production • Balance technical excellence with business impact and delivery timelines • Foster a collaborative team environment
🎯 Requirements
• A portfolio of real-world deep learning (e.g. diffusion) AI projects • Experience with Python and at least 1 AI platform (e.g. PyTorch) • US work authorization, if US-based • Track record of successfully delivering commercial ML-based products • Familiarity with our domain-specific tools: • Geospatial data (e.g. NetCDF, GeoTIFF, GeoJSON, PostGIS) • Earth science (e.g. xarray, Dask) • Cloud platforms (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure) • Experience with atmosphere/ocean/climate data and methods • Knowledge of source control, issue tracking, testing/CI, orchestration • Previous experience with startups, agile/scrum, software teamwork
