Description

• The Field Clinical Engineer is responsible for the overall clinical and technical support of Saluda's SmartLoop™ technology. • Facilitates the collection and dissemination of clinical, technical and industry intel to inform Saluda’s commercial execution. • Provides critical development, training, and leadership in collaboration with the US Field team to support successful launches. • Develops and maintains relationships with physicians and their staff by providing a high level of service and responsiveness. • Delivers ongoing education and clinical expertise to clinician partners in the local market. • Supports troubleshooting for the sales and clinical organizations and identifies opportunities for therapy improvement. • Collaborates with Clinical Engineering, Therapy and Development, Data Analytics and Quality for continuous improvement support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (highly preferred), or relevant technical or health-related field. • MS, PhD or applicable advanced degree preferred • 5+ years’ experience in Medical Device, Health Care or in a clinical setting • 2-3 years clinical medical device experience or equivalent, ideally with closed loop implantable electronic medical devices (Neuromodulation, CRM) • A comprehensive ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices • Ability to collaborate and work with others effectively • High-level of comfort in navigating the medical environment, to include labs and hospital settings • Patient Centric role with the ability to pair subjective and objective data • Proven success displaying confidence in leading & influencing customers; ability to confidently provide guidance to course correct as needed • Ability to prepare and present effectively written and verbal communications • Expert verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills • Ability to travel 50% of the time – including overnights • Located 1 hour away from major airport highly preferred
