Description

• This is a rare opportunity to join a growing organisation within the Data Centre space. • We seek an innovative, dedicated engineer within our design function who understands data centre infrastructure. • Your role will be to work with the Electrical design element of the team in developing solutions. • You will join a dedicated design team with extensive experience in this sector. • Responsibilities include developing technical performance specifications, designs, drawings, equipment schedules and reports. • Deciding on an approach to fulfilling the customer needs as appropriate. • Undertaking discrimination, selectivity and cable selection. • Designing and selecting electrical components and systems for various projects. • Creatively developing performance, quality, tendering and Client documents. • Conducting research and applying new knowledge. • Developing concept designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an electrical engineering field or undertaken an Electrical Design served apprenticeship. • Developed and prepared designs, client briefs and performance-related documentation • Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems • Working knowledge of electrical power components and their operation and configuration • Working knowledge of LV Electrical circuit arrangements, calculation and selection of protection systems, cables and distribution. • Drafting capabilities, hand-drawn and CAD
