Description

• You are responsible for writing high-quality code following solid engineering principles and best practices. • By reviewing the code of engineers at various seniority levels, you ensure that only top-notch code makes it to production. • You actively contribute to improving the quality and health of our codebase, processes, and teams. • Collaborating closely with product and customer experience teams, you gain a deep understanding of the features you're building or the bugs you're fixing.

Requirements

• Communicate with clarity, concision, and empathy • Strive to build and maintain emotionally safe environments where teams can do their best work • Care deeply about code that reads well, is easy to maintain, and is very well-tested • Take initiative, are self-managed, and dislike being micro-managed • See things through without needing reminders or too much intervention and follow-up as required • Expert Rubyist; JS, TS, or Golang are all a bonus • Inquisitive in nature and strive to understand the product, business domain, and users’ needs • Reflect critically about the team’s work and processes, constantly striving for improvement • Proficiency in German and full-stack experience is a bonus
