📋 Description
•Samsara is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud. •We help improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of physical operations. •We are looking for an entrepreneurial Product Manager with strong leadership skills to own and drive the development of Samsara’s Telematics EV Product. •This unique opportunity involves taking a product from concept to market and growing it into a high-revenue business. •You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build a best-in-class EV telematics solution.
🎯 Requirements
•Entrepreneurial Mindset: You are an entrepreneurial self-starter who is comfortable taking a product from zero to one. •Ownership of P&L: Experience in owning a product’s P&L and making strategic decisions based on financial performance and revenue growth targets. •5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally within the telematics, automotive, EV, or fleet management industries. •EV Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the electric vehicle landscape, including challenges related to fleet electrification, battery management, and charging infrastructure. •Track Record of Delivering Results: Proven success in taking products from concept to market and scaling them into high-growth businesses. •Leadership Skills: Experience in managing, developing, and scaling a small product team (1-2 PMs) while fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture. •Strong Technical Acumen: Ability to grasp technical concepts related to telematics, EV management, and IoT solutions. •Data-Driven Decision Making: Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to guide decision-making, product prioritization, and performance measurement. •Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills: Comfortable presenting to senior leadership, customers, and stakeholders across various functions. •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Business, or equivalent professional experience.
