Description

• Drive the vision, roadmap and priorities for the team • Continue to scale Samsara’s engineering team in EMEA • Ensure high technical standards through both processes and the culture you instill • Mentor and grow engineering managers and staff/senior engineers. • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices. • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, high-performing team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of industry experience in software engineering/development • 7+ years of engineering management experience • Experience managing managers and teams of 30+ engineers • A track record of building and leading high-performing software teams • A customer-focused mindset and strong product sense • Willingness to dive deep and solve challenging technical problems • Experience with best practices around testing, monitoring, and SLAs to ensure high product quality in large-scale distributed web services
